In the heart of Chetilla and Los Baños del Inca, Cuarto Poder takes us to meet Jovita, Juana, Máxima and Gregoria, students of our literacy program with the FOCUS application.
Jovita, a resident of Mahuaypampa in Chetilla, has decided to change her life by learning to read and write with the use of technology. Just like her, other Cajamarca women are embracing the power of knowledge, in the district square they meet every afternoon to learn with María, the virtual character who guides their learning in the FOCUS application.
Juana, from La Retama in Los Baños del Inca, finds the perfect solution in our educational strategy: she can learn comfortably from home and without the need for the internet. Gregoria and Máxima are companions, they help each other in their learning and show us that it is never too late to learn.
These stories are moving examples of the positive impact of education on rural communities. At the Dispurse Foundation, we are proud to share these transformative experiences in Cajamarca. Join us on this journey of learning and growth! 📚🌟

Nos complace anunciar que hemos concretado la réplica de la exitosa experiencia de las Escuelas Comunitarias Abiertas (ECA) desarrollada en la provincia de Quispicanchi, Cusco, esta vez en el distrito de Los Baños del Inca, en la región Cajamarca.
The event organized by Es Hoy, DVV International and Dispurse Foundation highlighted the joint efforts of companies, municipalities, educational institutions and civil society to close the educational gaps in youth and adults. In a context where 1 in 3 people in Peru have not completed their basic education, this event highlighted the importance of education as a tool for transformation.
In commemoration of International Literacy Day, Dispurse Foundation joined the awareness parade held in the city of Cajamarca. This event brought together students, teachers, organizations and local authorities to highlight the importance of literacy in personal and community development.
