The recognition was presented during the central day of the meeting, which brought together national and local authorities, territorial teams, facilitators, and older adults from eleven districts of the Pasco region, as part of the coordinated work carried out under the Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement between Pensión 65 and Dispurse Foundation.

The meeting was organized by Pensión 65’s Pasco Territorial Unit and the Provincial Municipality of Oxapampa, and gathered more than 150 older adults, beneficiaries of the social program, who are currently participating in digital literacy processes through the use of tablets and the FOCUS educational application, complemented by traditional pedagogical tools.

As part of the agenda, several activities were carried out to showcase the progress achieved in the territories, including a graduation ceremony for older adults, a discussion forum on incorporating digital literacy into the public policy agenda, and an experience fair where districts presented their methodologies, teaching materials, and learning outcomes.

During the fair, the most outstanding experiences of 2025 were also recognized, with the districts of Chontabamba, Santa Ana de Tusi, and Ticlacayán being awarded, highlighting the commitment of local governments to closing educational gaps among the older adult population.

For Dispurse Foundation, this recognition represents institutional endorsement of the work being carried out in the territories and reinforces the importance of coordination between the State, local governments, and civil society to guarantee the right to education throughout the life course.
